As the Managing Director of Barco Southeast Asia & Taiwan, Ta Loong Gan is responsible for revenue and operational management at Barco Southeast Asia and Taiwan across Healthcare, Enterprise and Entertainment - Ta Loong is also the Vice President for Immersive Experience business for Barco Asia Pacific. A seasoned professional with more than 27 years of strategic and business development experience in the consumer and enterprise technology industry in Asia, Ta Loong is recognised for his high-performance team building and management skills.   

During his tenure with Barco from 2001 to 2004 as Regional Sales Manager for Southeast Asia, he led the Simulation, Virtual and Augmented Reality and Entertainment visualisation solutions business, where he managed sales, business development and partner ecosystem for enterprise and public sectors and other focused industry including  Oil & Gas, Education, Defence, Automotive, Museums & Planetariums, and Manufacturing. Ta Loong has also held multiple senior leadership positions in multi-national companies including Hewlett-Packard and Samsung Electronics. Prior to joining Barco, he has successfully drove change management and business transformation as the General Manager, Enterprise Business Group for Samsung Electronics to accelerate business growth and succeeded in delivering a 200 per cent growth in revenue.

Ta Loong is an innovative and results-oriented business leader who is adept at change management and business transformation. Under his leadership, he has enabled his team to exceed both personal and corporate financial objectives. Ta Loong holds a degree in Business Computing from The University of Winnipeg, Canada and completed a Business Leadership Program with the University of New South Wales' Business School.
