Managing Director of User Services
King’s College
25 years of diverse experience in higher education. As the Managing Director of User Services, he is currently responsible for technology procurement and integration, lease negotiations, licensing, product research, end user satisfaction. At the strategic level, he assists with long-range technology planning and budgeting, and collaborates with administrators on special projects. He is currently responsible for the help desk, break/fix support team, AV technology, in-plant print shop, and campus post office. He holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Management of Information Systems and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Technology Management.
Lance Beaumont is an Associate Professor of Music and Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Program Development at California Baptist University. Dr. Beaumont designed and led the implementation of a new hybrid graduate program in Music. This coming fall, the School of Music at California Baptist University will be launching another virtual hybrid program at the graduate level. Lance is the author of the best-selling book, The Capo Chord Book, published by Mel Bay Publications and a Hill Guitar Co.artist. Lance is a graduate of Texas Christian University holding a BM and MM in guitar performance, and Boston University, holding a DMA in music education.

Julie has been running Digital Initiatives with Berkeley Exec Ed since February 2020. She joined Berkeley from HBS Online where she was since 2014. Prior to that she was working in Europe both as a practising lawyer and in legal education.

John Copeland is the Director of Sales for Teaching & Learning at Barco for the Americas and with a focus on Barco’s weConnect solution. He also serves on the Board of Directors for both the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) and the Texas Distance Learning Association (TxDLA). John is passionate about Distance Education and was was recently inducted into the TxDLA Hall of Fame. John also volunteers on both the Avixa Manufacturers Council and Diversity Council.
