David is Director of Marketing and Communications at AMBA & Communications and is responsible for the management of the magazines AMBITION and Business Impact, as well as devising and executing AMBA’s global communications strategy and overseeing the research and insight centre.Prior to joining AMBA in 2016, David held a variety of roles in journalism, publishing and marketing, with his most recent role prior to joining AMBA & BGA been Creative Director of the marketing agency Humm Media. David has written for publications including PRWeek, HR Magazine, Independent Nurse, The Guardian, Corporate Adviser, Management Today, The Economist, The BookSeller and The Independent as well working on TV productions including Don’t Blame Facebook. In 2012, he was shortlisted for Business Journalist of the Year, was awarded Career Development Journalist of the Year and HR Journalist of the Year and was named as one of the 30 journalists to watch under 30.
Simone is a trilingual Austrian with extensive experience in Business creation and management, Marketing, Communications, Digital, Content strategy and Training having lived in several countries and always worked in international environments. After 15 years with GE Healthcare in various roles in Marketing, Communications and Strategy she has obtained her Executive MBA with HEC Paris majoring in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and created her own start-up: She has launched a brand-new business model for alternative education extending it to a school network in the social and solidarity economy. After this exciting experience, Simone joined Barco as Global Marketing Manager bringing her hands-on experience in education & pedagogy together with her competencies from the corporate world. Simone has three children and enjoys her life in Paris where she has been living most of her time.
